Hi there! 👋
I am Daniela. Originally from 📍 Romania, I moved to Denmark in 2015 ✈️ at the age of 18 to study Marketing Management. This is when I discovered I had a passion for design 🎨 and I opted to specialize in Communication Design & Media in my final BA years.
After completing my BA degree at KEA in Copenhagen 🎓, I was intrigued by User Experience Design and wanted to deepen my knowledge within this field🕵️. This led me to obtain my MSc in Digital Design from HvA in The Netherlands 📚
During my master's, I worked on innovative projects with progressive clients 🚀. Notably, I contributed to Careplanner, Wyth Space, and Optslot 🌟. I'm proud to share that OptSlot, a board game we designed for corporate environments, was further developed and released by our clients 🧩. You can see the game 👉 here.
Over the years, I've also been part of projects across Brazil and Canada, where I was required to provide creative design solutions for vulnerable communities. In Canada, my team came in third place 🏆 for our service solution, Neighbourhub, which addresses the Halifax Regional Municipality's issues of food deserts.
These experiences shaped my values as a designer, inspiring me to build meaningful design solutions for people and the planet. 🌎
Fun facts:
• as a kid, I wanted to become a comic artist (I still kinda do 👀)
• even though I grew up near the seaside 🌊, I don't know how to swim 🆘
• I have 0 singing skills, but I'm always down for karaoke night 🎤
