This project was part of the BA module in Entrepreneurship. The scope was to find a pain point, solve it through a design solution, and create a business plan.
I and my teammate chose to focus on promoting local fashion designers as a response to the 2018 Dior scandal. Our solution was an eCommerce platform that solely promotes local designers. When visiting a new location, the user has access to nearby local designers, thus embracing the culture and supporting its community.
To be considered for the platform, the designer must achieve at least two of the five sustainability requirements: carbon neutrality, fair trade, organic, cruelty-free, and zero waste.
Research
The research was mainly quantitative and secondary. The target audience (TA) was defined after gathering data from an online questionnaire.
Target Audience
The TA was split into two categories: B2C (fashion enthusiasts and professional women) and B2B (local designers).
